Riviera Travel has reported a remarkable achievement in 2025, with a year-on-year (YOY) passenger growth exceeding 100 percent just seven months after its rebrand from Riviera River Cruises. This surge has surpassed the company’s total passenger count for the entirety of 2024.
The rebrand, unveiled in January 2025, streamlined Riviera’s river cruise operations under a unified global brand. Since then, the company has significantly expanded its presence in North America, including opening a new flagship office in Fort Lauderdale—the only river cruise line with an East Coast headquarters. Riviera also grew its U.S. sales team by 500 percent, appointed key leadership roles, and strengthened ties with travel advisors through a new digital training platform, Riviera Explorer.
“We anticipated strong demand for our offerings in North America, but the momentum we’ve seen since the relaunch has been extraordinary,” said Stuart Milan, president of North America for Riviera Travel. “Doubling last year’s passenger numbers in just seven months reflects the dedication of our growing team, our valued travel advisor partnerships, and the enthusiasm for our revitalized offerings.”
Riviera’s 2025 enhancements include a new drinks package and an all-inclusive drinks option available daily from 10 a.m. to midnight for 2026 itineraries. The company also launched its Grand Tours collection, designed specifically for North American travelers, alongside a revamped website to improve user experience.
“This is only the start for Riviera Travel,” Milan added. “We’re focused on innovation and delivering exceptional, memorable experiences for North American guests.”
